I am no longer creating pieces that solely reflect the full phrase ‘There is no god but God’ but rather am borrowing from pieces of it to explore other messages and avenues. This graphic piece – which I intend to produce on paper with blank ink – include the words ‘No’ and ‘Yes’ in Arabic. The animals within reflect my Arab roots: the Libyan eagle, the Syrian bear and the Palestinian gazelle.
